Let Go….Let Go

In silence, I suffer
Alone, I cry…..

In my thoughts,
I argue
I convince
I explain
I justify

In my heart,
I feel hurt and pain
A sense of regret
A sense of wondering.

I question, “where did I go wrong?”
I loved yet I failed, I loved yet I hurt
I search for answers
I search for myself

I end up with I don’t know
I am lost
There is no me anymore
I am lost.

I don’t know who am I anymore
I don’t know what I feel anymore
I don’t know
I don’t know.

I am numb
I am hurting but I don’t feel
I want to cry but I can’t
I want to express but I could not.

I pray but I don’t know what to say
I asked forgiveness but I can’t seem to feel sincerity
I asked for guidance yet I can’t comprehend
I submitted myself yet I can’t seem to trust fully.

I hope yet it seemed dark and confusion all the more
I want to give up yet I grasp on like I don’t want to let go
I am falling to pieces yet I don’t seem to care and
I don’t take action.

I am not me…..
I can’t go on like this….
I should….I must…..
But how?

Where should I go?
What path should I take?
Why should it be?
When will this end?

I don’t know!!! I want to go
Away where I can be…..
Let go……let go……

Well, my friends, did I make you teary eyed? I believe the message is….
Let go…let go….
And let God do the rest. Amen?

Where Are You?

We met at the beach of Friendship
With white sands of joy and laughter
Peace and serenity.

And together we went sailing
Until we reached
The deep sea of love.

Why did you bring me there and then
Left me alone to its giant waves of fear
And depression trying to engulf me?

Where are you?
Where are you?
Have you reached the shore safely?

My Secret Longings (Excerpt from my book “In Love With Love”)

For Husbands and Wives:

Are you aware of your spouse’s longings?

Beloved, I long to share with you
My joy when a new poem is born.

To make you listen to the love songs
I hear of the birds at dawn.

From your lips I long to hear again
The words of love that makes me glow.

The way the buds bloom with every kiss
Of the morning dew.

Just A Little

For The Youth, The Sons and Daughters, For Parents

Ears strumming with shouts…..
Eyes filled with tears…..
Heart full of sadness…..
Feelings of bitterness…..

Not wanting much from the world…..
Just a little note of concern…..
Just a little kindness…..
A simple deed of care…..
A little gentleness…..
A little hint of love…..

Yet, why do I feel guilty…..
when I am too tired…..
when I miss my chores…..
when I ask money…..
when I eat more than my share…..
when I am sick…..

A little concern…..
A little care…..
A little sympathy…..
A little gentleness…..
A little love…..

Not too much to ask from you…..
Is it?……

Divinized Day (Part 2)

In Part 1 of Divinized Day I wrote that when all day long we live the true spirit of the Morning Offering, and that is to think, to speak, to do, and to suffer for the love of God through our Lord Jesus and in His Name, then we will enjoy a blessed happy day, thanking God for a great priviledge He has gifted us.

A Divinized Day is a day wherein we make continuous acts of love and gratitude to the God. However we have to unite all of these with all the merits of the Passion and Precious Blood of Jesus being offered in all the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass everyday in the world.

When the Blessed Mother spoke to my heart about the kind of offering I made to Jesus (stated in Part 1), I started to reflect on the deep meaning of this prayer. I had learned to be very creative in everything i did and learned to really enjoy them because love gives joy to the soul.

Let me thus explain through my own experiencial knowledge of this beautiful privilege and gift of God not only to me but to you, my friends as well.

The Fire In San Diego California

Another promise for those who pray this hymn of praise: “from wind and fire it will shield us.”

The fire in San Diego, California started in October 23, 2007 and destroyed many houses in San Diego, Rancho Bernardo, Rancho Sta Fe, Poway, Escondido, Ramona, etc. When I saw the news of the fire in television, the first thing I did after a short prayer was to call one of the leaders from Penasquitos and requested her to hang a Brown Scapular on their front door and to face the direction where the fire was and together with her husband pray the Hymn of the angels unceasingly so their house and all those in their area will be spared. Then I called up all the other leaders of the Adorers of the Holy Trinity in San Diego County and gave them the same instructions and asked them also to call up all the members of our community.

After the fire, these people have their own stories to tell: the miracle of the Holy Trinity in sparing their homes and the homes of their love ones. They are one in giving their testimony that the wind changed its direction as they prayed and even chant the Holy, Holy, Holy God of Host! Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Glory to the Father, glory to the Son, glory to the Holy Spirit!

To all those who prayed this hymn of the angels and saints in heaven, their homes were all spared from the fire.
So again, I ask…..is this a coincidence or is it a miracle?

Hymn of the Angels (part 2)

This is a continuation of the miracles of the Hymn of the Angels to those who pray this hymn of grace.

This hymn is likened to a rainbow. A rainbow is the sign of God’s covenant or promise to His people and all living beings that the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all mortal beings. (Gen 9: 13-16)

“To a rainbow it is like from the waters to the sky”….this means that when we travel by sea or by plane, we will be safe if we pray the Hymn of the Angels.

Around fifteen years ago, I was invited to give a Healing Seminar in Alcantara, Romblon, an island in the Philippines. I remember that it was November, a month of typhoons in our country and a current strong typhoon was having a havoc to the areas it visited.

Hymn of the Angels

The Hymn of the Angels was described in the Book of Isaiah 6:1-3. He had a vision fo God seated on His throne with Seraphims stationed above as they cried to one another, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts! All the earth is filled with His glory!”

In Revelations 4:8, St John described also his vision of four living creatures with six wings around the throne of God who do not stop exclaiming day and night: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who was, Who is, and Who is to come.”

We, too are familiar with this hymn because we sing this during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and many more lyrics of songs were adapted from this hymn sung in heaven.

Earthquake!…..on the Eighteenth Floor

Have you ever experienced an earthquake while on the eighteenth floor of an old building? We did! And what an experience!

It happened on Sunday, August 23, 1998 at about 1:45 in the afternoon while we were on the air with our religious radio program. I remember that we had three guests. One of the guests was reading the Gospel for the day while Josie and our two other guests were listening. Suddenly, we felt our chairs moving and then…. the booth and the whole building was swaying….no more doubt, it was an earthquake!!!!

Radiating Christ

I have been praying this prayer everyday for almost 13 years and I really thank God and Cardinal Newman for the efficacy of his prayer.

Lord Jesus, help me spread Your fragrance everywhere I go. Flood my soul with Your Spirit and Life. Penetrate and possess my whole being so utterly that all my life may only be a radiance of Yours.

Shine through me and be so in me that everyone I come in contact with may feel Your presence in my heart. Let them look up and see no longer me but only Jesus! Stay with me and then I shall begin to shine as You shine, so to shine as to be the light to others. The light, O Jesus, will be all from You; none of it will be mine. It will be You shining on others through me.

Let me thus praise You in the way You love best, by shining on those around me. Let me preach You without preaching-not by my words but the catching force, the sympathetic influence of what I do, the evident fullness of the love my heart bears for You.

In one of the books written by Mother Teresa of Calcutta, I read that she and her sisters prayed this after receiving Holy Communion and I really, really tried to imitate them. May God touch your hearts, too, my friends, and together let us imitate Mother Teresa in loving and caring just like Jesus.
